By accessing or using ParseTap ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use the Service.

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Terms on this page and updating the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Service after any changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

2. Description of Service

ParseTap provides real-time data parsing, normalization, and delivery services for developers building data-intensive applications. The Service includes:

  • Data stream parsing and normalization
  • Schema definition and validation
  • Webhook ingestion endpoints
  • API access and SDKs
  • Dashboard and analytics

3. Account Registration

To use certain features of the Service, you must register for an account. You agree to:

  • Provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration
  • Maintain and promptly update your account information
  • Maintain the security of your password and accept responsibility for all activities under your account
  • Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

  • Violate any applicable laws or regulations
  • Infringe upon the rights of others
  • Transmit malware, viruses, or other malicious code
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
  • Interfere with or disrupt the integrity of the Service

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy. You retain ownership of all data you submit to the Service ("Your Data"). By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to process Your Data solely for the purpose of providing the Service.

You are responsible for ensuring that Your Data does not violate any applicable laws or third-party rights. You represent that you have obtained all necessary consents to submit Your Data to the Service.

6. Service Availability and Support

We strive to maintain high availability of the Service but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The Service may be temporarily unavailable for maintenance, upgrades, or due to circumstances beyond our control.

Support is provided according to your subscription plan. Free tier users receive community support only. Paid plans include email support with response times varying by plan level.

7. Payment Terms

Paid subscriptions are billed in advance on a monthly basis. All fees are non-refundable except as required by law. We reserve the right to change our pricing with 30 days notice.

If payment fails, we will attempt to charge your payment method again. After multiple failed attempts, your account may be downgraded to the Free tier or suspended.

8. Intellectual Property

The Service and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by ParseTap and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of the Service without our prior written consent.

9. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, PARSETAP SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL.

OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIMS ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

11. Termination

You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us. We may terminate or suspend your account immediately, without prior notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties.

Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease. We will delete Your Data within 30 days of termination, unless legally required to retain it.

12. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Delaware.
